About the Irish Bear Club<\/h3>\t\t\t

Thousands of years ago all of Ireland was covered in deep forest where the bears roamed freely. But as the human population grew, they chopped down the forests tree by tree until eventually all the forests were nearly gone. The remainder of the wild Teddy Bears headed for the last wild place in Ireland, the Mountains of Mourne deep in County Down where they made their home.<\/p>\n

They want to be your pal, your best friend and your companion, and no matter where they go, they bring the luck of the Irish with them. Some love to dance, sing and play music while others tend their farm or fish the rivers for a tasty snack or just lie in the shade reciting poetry and telling each other stories.<\/p>\n

The bears all look after each other and their community and they don’t need anyone other than themselves.\u00a0P\u00e1raic the Farmer\u00a0produces all the food, and the tasty honey that all the bears love while\u00a0Finn the Fisherman\u00a0is out at sea catching fish.\u00a0R\u00f3is\u00edn the Colleen\u00a0strolls through the village singing her stories while\u00a0Lizzie the Dancer\u00a0jigs and reels all day long.\u00a0Logan the Piper\u00a0plays his Irish bagpipes, keeping the bears entertained while\u00a0Molly the Weaver\u00a0weaves the baskets and furniture for all the bears. And of course\u00a0James the Poet\u00a0whom recites his tales of Celtic woe.<\/p>\n

One thing that each of them would really love and that is for you to pick them up and take them home to become part of your family where they will look over you and yours forever and a day.<\/p>\n
